What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file, which is downloaded to your computer or any other device that you use to browse the web (phone, tab) by the website you have visited. They are useful for the users because they contain information that contributes to better functionality of the website. Cookies do not collect your personal information or enable any type of the website user identification.

How do cookies work?
When you visit a website for the first time, the cookies are downloaded on your device. This offers a friendlier use of the website, which is also more efficient and adjusted to each individual user. Types of cookies
Temporary or session cookies are not stored - they are deleted each time you close the browser.
However, permanent or persistent cookies are saved, even after closing the browser. The latter are used to store information on registration, settings of the website language, to analyse traffic etc. They can remain in the computer for several days, months or even years.
1st party cookies come from the website viewed by the user and can be temporary or permanent. The website uses these cookies for storing information and will use them again the next time the user visits the website.
3rd party cookies originate from other, partner websites (for example, they display ads on the original website or measure traffic). Third parties use these cookies to collect data on users from different websites and use them for various purposes, e.g., for advertising, analyses, improving their products.

The cookies arising from the PayPal domain are for marking a PayPal session.
